Written by

This electrifying NYC street performing duo, sax player and drummer, can often be heard under the streets of NYC freestyling funky jazz sets that instantly get you movin’ to the beat, remniscent of that classic 90's hip hop feel, mixed in with a little bit of that contagious James Brown sound.

After the we recorded a set, which you can watch below, we asked for their name and the drummer replied Blue Funk Orchestra.

Someone please sign these guys.

David Pollack Tour

The smooth melodic soul of David Pollack's voice has literally been 'crashing the loss of sound' across the U.S, which is fittingly the title of his current tour an title of his upcoming single 'Crashing Through A Loss Of Sound'.  One browse/stream through his soundcloud will have you in a suprisingly unresistable groove - a fresh sound to vibe to.

David Pollack's recent single, 'I Saw Your Future', has a great story to it. (Cover Art below)

Collaborating with his friend Lionel Lombard, who, while traveling in Bolivia, wrote this song about a friend who was struggling with Alcohol Addiction, this project ended up being a very well executed collaboration between a group of talented individuals.

1. Lionel wrote up the lyrics and sent it to David,

2. Who then wrote the music for it,

3. Which was then produced by Phillipe Lanchance from Montreal Quebec,

4. Which was then mastered by Joao Carvalho from Toronto.

Below is the soundcloud project that song is on and the video for it.

Angelle

Angelle is an R&B/Soul singer-songwriter out of Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in a musical family, she was always encouraged to follow her dream and aspire to great things in life, as well as in music. By the time Angelle was five years of age, she knew that singing was what she wanted to do, and by the age of ten she was writing her own music. Her biggest influence might have been her father, who believed in her dream from the time she was a little girl - but in fact, she feels that everybody in her life has contributed to her creative goals in some way, shape or form. Not least of all, two of her uncles enjoyed great commercial success in Haitian music, a legacy she is determined to carry on.

- (See videos below)

Angelle has won several awards for her songwriting, starting in high school with the Grammy Day competition, and more recently making it to the semi-finals in the Song of The Year contest for her original song Why. Inspired by the iconic voices of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Motown, Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, Mary J Blige, Jazmine Sullivan, Lauryn Hill, Patti Labelle, Marvin Gaye, Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday and Sara Vaughn, she dreams of playing the part of Aretha in a yet-to-be-made biopic, and hopes to one day sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl. Her debut EP Rêvé (Life’s But a Dream) was released in 2015, and promises to be a moment like so many others in her life, one that leads her on to something greater. Angelle is a graduate of the University of Albany, and is proud to have been part of the Open Door Scholarship program.

- (Video Performance below)

When she isn’t making music, she is passionate about humanitarian pursuits, and has been instrumental in building a foundation to help bring the arts back to the lives of Haitian children. In life as well as in music, and especially in honor of her family and heritage, Angelle will always carry the torch for the legacy left behind and continue to explore its boundless potential. In 2016 Angelle decided to release her new materials that signifies the growth of the acceptance of who she was becoming. Angelle's new single 12 am is very explicit. This song exploits Angelle's grown and mature side. Angelle is also currently working on new materials and cant wait to share them with her fans
