Fernando Pintado

Fernando Pintado

Simply coining Fernando Pintado as a painter is a mockery of the word. Hailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico, this multi-faceted creative uses silk-screen canvases and acrylics to illustrate his world of Alternative Rock and Free verse poetry. The imagery from his works and videos couple seemlessly with his pieces; capturing the audience's attention.

Kreg Franco

-Kreg Franco explores a world a realism to convey an emotional connection in his pieces.

Franco (b.1996) is a visual learner, enriching his knowledge through his observations. Drawing from comic books as a child, he continues to pursue his passion for creating as a teenager. He is a graduate of the High School of Art & Design and is currently attending the Fashion Institute of Technology. In his education, Franco is New York City-based artist that is building momentum in Illustration. Outside of his education, he has been on exhibition in several galleries across NYC, from Chelsea to Midtown to the Bronx. As an 18-year-old artist, he is aiming high for his future, and is surrounding himself with fellow artists who share his passion.

Franco delights in drawing from the figure, and finds that direct observation is the key foundation for growing in his field. He enjoys practicing his skills through creating pieces of celebrities and recognizable figures, as it enables him to have a connection to powerful social figures that audiences can relate to. His original work aspires to captivate viewers through portraiture. His subjects explore surreal qualities while maintaining a naturalistic approach. He is constantly observing and learning from his inspirations and striving to apply new artistic translations. His goal is to have viewers recognize the soul in his portraits. He strives to translate such an intangible force through the simple 2-dimensional picture plane.  (Source: http://www.kregfranco.com/kf

Amanda Rothschild

Amanda Rothschild recieved her BFA in Painting with minors in Art History and Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis. She now lives in New York City as she continues to produce amazing pieces while working at The Met (Metropolitan Museum of New York).

Her paintings, primarily done in oil, focus on emphasizing and beautifying otherwise mundane places and objects through the physicality of a painted surface.  She works with overlooked objects, often those found in an average home, including microwaves and countertops, especially focusing on sinks and drains. These paintings use areas of abstraction combined with areas of precise detail that give these objects a life and narrative separate from their original utilitarian usage. During her years at Washington University in St. Louis she has been featured in a number of student shows including Knuckle Knuckle: a Junior Painting show, and Community Visuals: A Student Exhibition in Two Dimensions. She has served as both treasurer and president of the Art School Council and was an active member of the Undergraduate Council, while also serving on the Undergraduate Experience Committee. She was nominated for the Eileen Battell Stoeckel fellowship in the spring of 2013 and received the Eda L. and Clarence C. Cushing Memorial Prize in Painting in 2013. Prior to her managing role at The Met, Amanda worked as a Studio Assistant in the studio of St. Louis based artist John Sarra and worked as a Museum Teaching Intern at the Saint Louis Art Museum. JAY DAVIS - Jay Davis is an emerging, self-taught artist born and raised in Washington, DC. Jay discovered his love for art at the age of 8 when he created his first abstract piece that still hangs in the home of his proud parents.

Jay creates vivid abstract paintings with a contemporary flair, specializing in acrylics and textured art designs on canvas. He loves bold color, and enjoys using some very unique textures that gives his abstract work a powerful presence. Jay finds his inspiration in his many life experiences.

Growing up in a middle class home, Jay excelled in sports, especially soccer and basketball. Unfortunately he opted for a fast paced lifestyle which exposed him to adventure and risk as he witnessed crime, betrayal, separation and tragedy. This environment helped shape and develop his intense love for his craft.

Art became his refuge later in life and has now developed into his passion. Jay’s life experiences have given him a colorful outlook on life, which is vividly displayed in his work. A steady stream of friends and acquaintances along with word of mouth, have created quite a buzz around Jay’s art work. Corporations and private collectors up and down the east coast have commissioned his work and now he is proud to be able to share his talent with the world. (source:Facebook)

"My Style is definitely all my own, and I love what I do.  My art comes from deep within my heart , mind and soul. Throughout life I have stored a wealth of personal experiences in my head and heart. My Work  becomes a open door to share with the world my thoughts and ideas. I envision textures first and wait for the perfect color to accent my thoughts. Some of my life's experiences prompt feelings of loneliness and I create abstract expressions, as demonstrated in "Abyss". Sometimes my playful side is a perfect medium for works like, "House Party" and "Bubble Gum". My work doesn't dictate one style because I  have endless ideas of life and I illustrate this with many colors, patterns and textures. Art moves my soul so much that sometimes I find myself awakened in the middle of the night with visions. Once I see the canvas I might be there for days. Once I get in "the zone", I am stuck, and completely obsessed with what I can see materialize into beautiful color. I hope my style moves my audience, and gives you a glimpse of who I am.... colorful, well shaped, with lots of texture."

Clothes & Music

After many years of planning and creating, one of our most anticipated T-Shirts is here! The Demand Peace Tee If you are from Woodbridge, Virginia you may have seen the local legend known as "The Demand Peace Guy", a very nice and caring man who for the past five or more years has stood outside in the cold and rain with his sign that reads "Demand Peace" in bold black sharpie.

As young adults, we would pass this man every day and feel inspired by his passion, his dedication, and most importantly his message. This brought us to the simple idea of, "how can we help?". This took many months of tracking him down, and finally sitting down with him and getting his full story, along with his full blessing to use his message. "The Demand Peace Guy" as we call him, does not like to give out his name or any of his information, but has told us what he appreciates the most is when people come up and talk with him, listen to him, and hopefully take something from his message and his story. After speaking with him ourselves, we were determined to make this shirt a reality and hopefully all of Woodbridge, Northern Virginia, and the rest of The World can wear his sign on their chest and show support everywhere they go! Also portion of every shirt sold will donated directly to the Demand Peace Guy to support his cause!!!
