The Dream Collab Series returns with the very first artist to launch the State-2-State Independent Artist Discovery Project, Latasha in Brooklyn, NY.

During the interview, Diversal Founder Alex Jackson who sat with Latasha and her multi-talented photographer, filmmaker, designer and collaborator boyfriend, Jah, in Prospect Park, couldn’t help but notice her radiating energy. Whether it was from her show coming that night, the high from her performance a week prior, her album set to drop end of 2018, other big projects scheduled for release, her recent moments with Lil’ Kim she included in her recent docufilm project ‘Missy Elliot,’ what emerged from the interview was a glow of creativity and positive energy coming from the multi-dimensional artist who mixes spirituality with creativity in her brand-new platform Lytewrk, where she offers workshops, meditations and community to support people moving into creative paths.

When pointed to the question ‘Who would you love to collaborate with?’ the go-getting diva did not name just one artist, she had with her a list.

But first off, the first person to roll off her tongue was Michael Jackson. Or to be more specific ‘90s Mike. She felt ‘90s Mike would really compliment her style.

Other artists she admired and would love to work with include: SZA, Duckwrth, Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, Whitney Houston, Selena, Jay-Z, Beyonce and just about anyone who is dope and real.

We at Diversal are rooting alongside Latasha for a possible collaboration with any of these artists in the near future and we would love to see her team up with any of these beloved performers.
