Maggie Miles Maggie Miles

Maggie Miles is an alt-pop artist who is currently making waves in the industry. Originally from the Western Hills of Northern Virginia, Miles recently moved to Nashville to pursue music full time. She grew up listening to the soulful vocals of Stevie Nicks and Ann Wilson but has found ‘90s grunge to be a major source of inspiration as of late. She is releasing her latest single “Swim” via Warehouse West Entertainment.

“Swim” cleverly depicts water and darkness in this emotionally propelling track that undulates with power and feeling. Culminating in a sound that builds and builds, at the center of this song is Miles’ soulful vocals that she commandeers with visible skill and dexterity. Oozing with a sound embedded with grungy riffs with anthemic guitars, pulsating bass lines and driven beats mixed in with Miles’ versatile vocals, what we get is a deeply reverberating track that will resonate with listeners especially during these difficult times.

“Swim” is a follow-up to her latest single and first co-write in Nashville, “WHATDOISAY?”  a heavy hitting pop-infused track that has been featured in a slew of playlists, everything from New Music Friday – Indie Pop, Fresh Finds, and more.

Miles’ previous single “Shiver” even garnered the attention of Billboard and American Songwriter. Even during this era, where the industry is being overwhelmed by an influx of new music every day, Miles stands apart with her soaring vocal abilities and epic instrumentals. With over 60k monthly listeners on Spotify, it’s clear that the world has taken note of this exciting new pop artist.

“Swim” is a cut off of her debut album Am I Drowning or Am I Just Learning to Swim. If this track is any indicator, her debut album will probably be worth a listen. The new record is currently out now. Be sure you have a listen today!
