Brighton-based, Belgian-American multi-faceted artist Speelburg shares newest single and visual “Crash & Burn” – the third offering from his upcoming album Porsche due for release on 18th September via Ultra Music, Ultra Records, Hometown Records, Relentless Records and Sophomore Slump.

A hip hop electronic beat gives off an old school feel to this track. Written, produced, performed, edited, colored and directed by Speelburg, the MV incorporates a football team, secret agents and leftist literature. The visual accompaniment pays homage to ‘90s era iconic filmmakers from Spike Jonze and Michel Gondry to Wes Anderson’s symmetrical style.

The song is anthemic with punchy electro beats, speeding guitars and epic horns. The sound is altogether infectious. Catchy and sweeping, Speelburg does not disappoint with his latest release. He relinquishes his signature sound of witty lyrics, crisp funk-influenced electro-pop beats, infectious hook-heavy choruses and compelling visuals, while recalling a Beck, Vampire Weekend and Paul Simon vibe. While distinctive, his music is both daring and bold with pop-oriented tunes that are not only memorable, they are a welcome change of pace from the pop and rock offerings on the radio today. Speelburg’s music is not only fresh, it is an accessible melding that will appeal to pop lovers everywhere. Be sure you have a listen today!
