Sign up onsite with one of our volunteers specializing in art, programming, design, production, music/audio, writing, or QA, and get some expert advice, help polishing your application materials, or a chance to brush up on your interview skills.

Social Mixer Afterparty

After the fair wraps up, there will be a social mixer at Iron Bar & Lounge at 713 8th Ave (at W. 45th St), where participants can mingle and make connections over food and drinks.

The career fair will run from noon to 6pm, and the mixer will start at 6 and run until 9pm. In order to accomodate more attendees and make better use of the space, we're registering tickets in separate time slots. When registering, you may select your admission time and optionally register for the mixer, or register for the mixer only.

Are there ID requirements to enter the event?

Yes—you MUST bring photo ID in order to go through security and gain access to the building. If you do not have ID, you will not be able to enter!

What is the recommended dress code?

This is a professional event, and we recommend that you aim for business casual. You'll want to dress up to make a good impression, but a suit is probably overkill.

What should I bring?

  • Multiple printed copies of your resume (one to give to every employer you speak with)
  • If you have a visual or audio portfolio you would like reviewed by a volunteer, bring a device you can use to show it off (laptop, tablet, phone, etc.)
  • Folder to collect handouts and company info
  • Pen and note paper
  • Plenty of business cards
